March 25th, What a date!

This is the date when our Lord Jesus died on the Cross for us.

This is the date when St. Gabriel the Archangel announced to the Blessed Virgin Mary that by the power of the Holy Ghost she would conceive and bear the child Jesus, the Saviour. She then consented and said, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done unto me according to thy word."  At that moment the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us.  This is known as Annunciation or Incarnation, the greatest moment in the history of the world.

This is the date when our Lady said to St. Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes "I am the Immaculate Conception."

This is the date when our first parents, Adam and Eve were created.

This is the date when St. John the Baptist, the precursor of our Lord Jesus was beheaded.

This is the date when St. Dismas, the penitent thief was also crucified next to our Lord Jesus. While hanging on the cross beside our Lord, St. Dismas said "Lord, remember me when Thou comest into Tht Kingdom.' Our Lord replied to St. Dismas, "Amen I say to thee, this day thou shalt be with Me in paradise."

So...this is the day I'll start to dedicate this work to our Blessed Virgin Mary, THE TRIUMPHANT QUEEN. She is the antidote to the crisis in our world. May She grant me, a miserable sinner the grace to serve Her as a slave.

Today is really a special day being a March 25th and a Passion Sunday.  Let us say a prayer for the Mexicans who as Christians are encouraged to march for political reason instead of observing this day solemnly.  Their leaders are forgetting what is true charity.
